A nice holiday memento of Hohwacht Bay - the wishing stones with a sailing motif for the community of Blekendorf, the dye factory for Lütjenburg, the Behrensdorf lighthouse, the Hessenstein in Panker, the Strandkrabbe for Hohenfelde or the bronze flounder sculpture in Hohwacht fit the bill perfectly.
The ceramic artist from Stralsund, Hendrike Weber, fashioned the special edition of these flat, double fired ceramic wishing stones each one of which is a unique piece
And this is how it works:
To ensure that wishes are fulfilled with the aid of the stone, you simply write your wish on the back of stone and throw it into the sea. As the proverb says: "Water flows but the stones remain!" After sleeping on it for one night, the wish should be fulfilled the next day. The wishing stones are especially good for skipping due to their flat, round shape.
Sometimes guests like to use the wishing stones as a gift or they keep them as a small memento of their holiday in the region where wishes come true.
The wishing stones are available in all tourist information offices for the price of € 3.30.
